Dale & I have been working together at cable europe labs, the European cable collaboration network. From our first meeting I was impressed by his knowledge, his enthusiasm and his humor. We have on and off worked together for quite a number of years, but every encounter was pleasant and inspiring. Every single one. Dale, you have been an important member of the European cable community and have influenced and guided it in many ways, likely more than you realized.
