Apprentice Graduation

So picture this, 150 apprentice are all sat in a large room in a hotel on the outskirt of Coventry.
We'd bought them together to celebrate their graduation but wanted to give them more than just a party. The result was a 3 hour afternoon conference style event that would provide them with an insight to the wider business and further opportunities they could aspire to.
There's an hour left of the afternoon and only one person between them and the start of the celebrations, never an easy slot for any presenter. Then this bloke in jeans and an oversized t shirt comes bounding on the stage. The fidgeting stops as does the rumbling of small conversations on the tables.
The passion of Dale's delivery and depth of knowledge (a rare combination) ensured that 150 sets of eyes became fixated on the stage with every nugget of information being consumed and soaked up by all in attendance. As Dale drew to a close he offered the opportunity for any questions...... there was a numb silence across the room, everyone had been blown away by the charismatic and futurist vision of technology that I think most would have been unable to answer the simplest of questions, they just sat there in awe.
An exhausted Dale came off stage and said to me "Tough crowd?", I just replied "just give it a minute"........ with that the apprentice came out of the room buzzing and bombarded Dale with all number of questions and scenarios, He'd shook their curiosity and now their lids had well and truly been blown off!!!

To encourage just one person is a gift but to inspire so many is legendary. Thank you
